Bellini Acetic Acid, 80%, 1 litre
Acetic Acid is a colourless liquid that has a characteristic pungent odour and boils at 118°C. Although not glacial (100%) it is entirely miscible with water in all proportions and forms a working strength solution at 3%.
With a formula of CH3CO2H; it is a weak organic carboxylic acid and solidifies at about 17°C to a crystalline mass resembling ice. If frozen, turn the bottle from the top downwards.
Used to make stop baths, acidifying, fixers, intensifiers and toners. It is also useful as a post-alkali toning rinse bath to remove scum.
